The highest surface standard for stainless steel surfaces

Prevent contamination and meet the strictest hygiene requirements. Discover why leading QA managers and hygiene consultants specify the 100% chemical-free ViwateQ finish in their specifications.

The ViwateQ technology

Is the process truly 100% chemical-free?

The ViwateQ treatment does not use any chemicals and the equipment is designed to use a minimal amount of water.

ViwateQ technology is easier and safer to apply where the ViwateQ finish achieves a significant lower surface roughness and optimized topography. The ViwateQ treated finish will be smoother, more corrosion resistant, better to clean and thin plates won’t be deformed.

In-house installation

Do I need special environmental permits for a ViwateQ cabin?

ViwateQ does not use any chemicals during the treatment process, and the treated wastewater can be discharged into the sewage system.

Depending on local environmental permit requirements, we can also assist with the necessary analyses and support in obtaining the required environmental approvals and permits.

Each cabin is tailored to the customer’s specific needs and equipment requirements.

ViwateQ provides technical support and engineering drawings to help create the most efficient and cost-effective cabin solution for each application.

ViwateQ has installed cabins ranging from 4 × 5 meters up to 16 × 18 meters.

To ensure the correct expertise and to consistently achieve the optimal ViwateQ finish, a mandatory 3-day training program is required at the ViwateQ headquarters.

During this training, operators are taught the correct process parameters, handling techniques, surface quality requirements, and best practices necessary to achieve the expected ViwateQ results.

Following the installation of the equipment, ViwateQ also provides on-site training to ensure that operators are fully prepared to work quickly, efficiently, and independently within their own production environment.

The profitability of a ViwateQ installation depends on several factors, including the materials being treated, the quality requirements of the finished product, the selected equipment configuration, and the required production efficiency.

ViwateQ is the easiest and fastest way to achieve an optimal surface finish in terms of both roughness and surface topography.

To ensure the best possible return on investment (ROI), ViwateQ actively supports its licensees through training, best practices, technical guidance, and specialized tools, enabling them to work as efficiently and consistently as possible.

ViwateQ NL

What are the maximum dimensions you can treat?

12m x 4m x4m

We strive to achieve the fastest possible turnaround times, with a standard lead time of approximately 1 to 2 weeks.

For larger projects, we kindly ask customers to inform us in advance so that we can ensure proper planning, capacity allocation, and optimal project execution.

Quality & certification

Does the finish comply with EHEDG and 3-A standards?

As a stand-alone surface treatment, ViwateQ can easily achieve a surface roughness below 0.8 µm, depending on the quality of the starting material. This meets the general EHEDG requirement of 0.8 µm and can also meet the stricter 0.6 µm standard commonly applied in the meat and fish processing industry.

Even lower roughness values below 0.5 µm, as often specified within the pharmaceutical industry, can also be achieved with additional treatment steps.
