Bring the ViwateQ technology in-house
Take control of your surface treatment. Increase your margins, shorten lead times, and eliminate toxic pickling with your own ViwateQ booth.
How does ViwateQ Finishing work?
ViwateQ is a wet polishing surface treatment technology for stainless steel and other materials. It offers a simpler, chemical-free, less labour-intensive, and faster alternative to glass bead blasting and pickling.
- The technology levels microscopic peaks and valleys for a more consistent surface.
- A minimal roughness remains to ensure cleanability and smoothness.
- The oxide layer and impurities are removed, after which a new oxide layer forms through passivation.
When is an in-house ViwateQ installation the right choice?
An in-house licence is the logical next step for companies wanting to (re)take control of their surface treatment. The switch to our cabins is often made when you:
- Want to meet EHEDG, 3A or other surface roughness requirements
- Focus on hygienic machine design
- Require low surface roughness
- Want to increase the lifetime of your constructed equipment
- Need a chemical free surface treatment
Complete in-house control
You want to speed up your lead times by completely eliminating dependence on external suppliers and logistical waiting times.

Frequently asked questions about the in-house installation
Do I need special environmental permits for a ViwateQ cabin?
No. Because the ViwateQ process is 100% mechanical and chemical-free, you do not have to deal with the strict environmental permits, occupational safety requirements, or waste disposal associated with traditional pickling. It is completely safe for your operators and the environment.
Can the cabin be customised to the dimensions of our products?
Absolutely. We understand that every production is different. We inventory your maximum product dimensions and volumes and configure a customised cabin accordingly, so it fits perfectly into your existing production line.
How long does it take before my operators can work independently?
The system is designed for ease of use. When installing the cabin, we provide comprehensive, practical training for your team. Within a few days, they can independently produce the ViwateQ standard.
What is the profitability compared to our current method?
Your main operational costs for the cabin are water, electricity, and the specific ViwateQ polishing medium. Because you save directly on external transport costs, waiting times at subcontractors, and expensive chemical waste disposal, the payback period is often surprisingly short. Since every production line is unique in terms of volumes and dimensions, we are happy to make this comparison tailored to you. Contact us for a personalised profitability calculation.
